In the Hollywood Vintage Jacket Collection, the History of Flight begins in the early 1900s with the visionary events of Howard Hughes in “The Aviator” and Amelia Earhart. Then we cross World War II with John Wayne in “Flying Tigers” to get to the Korean War with William Holden in “The Bridges of Toko-ri.” But the universal myth was born during the Cold War with “Top Gun”, a movie that made entire generations dream up to the present day. We all wanted to be Pete “Maverick” Mitchell and drive an F-14 Tomcat.
