Robert Neville is a scientist who lives in New York and represents the last surviving man on Earth. He finds himself in a world devastated by a virus that has eliminated 90% of the world’s population. 1% of humanity is immune to this virus, created by man to fight cancer. Neville’s main problem is the remaining 9% of the population, transformed into creatures devoid of humanity, who killed and devoured the healthy survivors, except Robert, who seeks a vaccine for the infected. The film, based on the book of the same name by Richard Matheson, is enhanced by effective direction and, above all, by the performance of Will Smith (Robert Neville), who acted almost entirely alone.
