Leather jacket inspired by the one worn by Wyatt, played by Peter Fonda in the 1969 movie “Easy Rider“. An authentic legend, a must for movie lovers and old school Harley Davidson bikers.
It was July 14, 1969 when a film was released in American theaters that to many seemed an ambitious but hopeless operation: an independent film and for the most part improvised, costing just 400 thousand dollars, without a real plot and made by two little actors, unknown to the general public. Despite the premises, the cinemas of Los Angeles and New York were besieged by whole legions of young people from all over the country, attracted from the many groups of the hippie counterculture. In less than a few weeks that film, Easy Rider, became a real cinematic case, so much so that the following year it even earned two Oscar nominations for best screenplay and for best supporting actor (Jack Nicholson, at the time practically unknown). Even today, for the American Film Institute, the film “Easy Rider” is in eighty-fourth place in the ranking of the best one hundred US films of all time.
HVJ transports you to the myth of Hollywood, and dedicates this leather jacket to those who pursue freedom like Peter Fonda in Easy Rider.
