EASY RIDER Inspired | biker leather jacket

The leather jacket, inspired by the one worn by Wyatt, the character played by Peter Fonda in the 1969 film “Easy Rider”, is a true legend, a collector’s item for cinema lovers and bikers who adore Harley Davidsons in old school style.

On July 14, 1969, a film debuted in American theaters that seemed like an ambitious undertaking doomed to failure: an independent work, largely improvised, made with only 400 thousand dollars, without a defined plot and brought to the screen by two actors who were then little known. Contrary to expectations, the cinemas of Los Angeles and New York were invaded by young people from all over the country, attracted by word of mouth from the numerous hippie counterculture groups. In a few weeks, “Easy Rider” became a cinematic phenomenon, so much so that the following year it obtained two Oscar nominations for best screenplay and best supporting actor (a then almost unknown Jack Nicholson). Today, according to the American Film Institute, “Easy Rider” occupies eighty-fourth place in the list of the best one hundred American films of all time.

HVJ takes you into the myth of Hollywood and dedicates this leather jacket to those who, like Peter Fonda in “Easy Rider”, are looking for freedom.
