The Detroit Lions football jacket, made of white leather and blue wool, inspired by the film “Beverly Hills Cop” and worn by Eddie Murphy, is a tribute to the team’s iconic white and blue colors.
This jacket was worn by the famous Detroit football team in the 1980s. It later became legendary on the big screen thanks to the films set in Beverly Hills, starring Axel Foley as a police officer.
In 2012, to mark the film’s 25th anniversary, a tribute version was released in America, worn by many former Detroit Lions players, now inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
